Online voting for the 26th Golden Disk Awards has officially opened.
The 26th Golden Disk Awards “Inkisang” is awarded to the most popular KPop Wave star as determined in part by an online vote. The voting is open until December 26th, and fans can vote once per day. The voting is open to all, regardless of location, so this is international fans’ chance to have their voice be heard. Head over to the Golden Disk Awards website in order to vote for Girls’ Generation.

In order to vote, you must register, but don’t worry if you can’t read Korean. We are here to help! Click on “회원가입” in the upper right corner, then click the button that says “일만회원 가입하기” in the registration box to start creating an account.

Create you account with an ID, email address and password. Make sure the box is checked and then click “가입하기”.

A confirmation box will pop up that says you will be sent an email. Just click OK.

Check your email, then click the confirmation link within the email to activate your account. Head back to the GDA website, and then login by clicking on “로그인” in the upper right corner. Enter your ID and password and then click “로그인”.
Now for the important part, the voting. Click on 소녀시대 and then click on “투표하기” to cast your vote.

If ”이미 투표하였습니다.” appears when you try and vote, it means you have already voted that day, so you have to wait until the next day. Remember, you can vote once per day until the voting closes on December 26th.

Girls’ Generation has had an incredible year. They sold out fourteen concerts on their Japan Arena Tour, performed at the prestigious Madison Square Garden in New York City, and came back in Korea as global stars. Their third studio album, “The Boys”, has been a huge success, selling over 200,000 albums in only two weeks and dominating the music shows with eleven wins.
Let’s do our best to support Girls’ Generation this awards season, and help them win the Inkisang at the 26th Golden Disk Awards.
